Introducing My Publicist! — A smarter way to get press coverage and build stronger partnerships

My Publicist! logo

I built My Publicist! because I’ve lived on both sides of the pitch.

As a former magazine editor, I used to get dozens of emails a day from publicists, founders, and creators all asking for coverage, placement, or a little attention. Most of them blended together. A few made me stop. Fewer made me care.

Later, as a messaging strategist, I worked with brands who were sharp internally but struggled to grab the attention of journalists and edits. They had a great product, but just didn’t know how to get them to bite.

That space between what people mean and what actually lands is where My Publicist! was born.

This isn’t a copy bot. It’s a perception tool.

There are enough AI tools that will “help you write.”

This one helps you write better — for the world you’re actually pitching.

My Publicist! thinks like an editor, rewrites like a strategist, and it exists to help you:

  • Get press

  • Build smart media relationships

  • Control how your message lands

  • And stop sending stuff that never gets opened, answered, or remembered

What My Publicist! does

Every day, you can use it to:

  • Rewrite pitches, press releases, or media outreach

  • Gut-check how something sounds before you hit send

  • Reframe a product launch or brand pivot so it makes editorial sense

  • Understand how your tone, structure, or ask might land with someone on the other end

It includes tools like:

  • Pitch Switch (for outreach emails and cold DMs)

  • Press Polisher (for releases that don’t read like a template)

  • Perception Check (for honest tone feedback)

  • Image Control (for relaunches, pivots, and narrative resets)

Everything’s built on the way I hear and read as someone who’s been pitched for 15+ years and worked inside major brands on the messaging that moves.

Who it’s for

  • Publicists who want smarter tools and a sharper editorial filter

  • Founders who want press and want to stop sounding like everyone else

  • Creators who are building something real and want to protect how it’s positioned

  • Anyone with a good idea and a bad way of explaining it

Why I built it

Because I’ve been the person pitching. And the person who gets pitched.

And because I wish I had something like this when I was starting out that could help me clean up the language, control the tone, and see it through the eyes of the person on the other end.

Now it exists. And it’s available anytime you need it.

Want to try it?

Open ChatGPT.  Go to the Explore GPTs tab. Search for: My Publicist! Or click here to launch it.

I’m curious to hear what you think! Happy pitching.
